“minto” shopping center awarded “Excellence in Brand Architecture”
A shopping center as a brand and guarantor for a holistic shopping experience is the way forward-looking project developers go – and among them Germany’s leading ones regularly together with kplus konzept.
In cooperation with the interior design department of Unibail-Rodamco and following their 4Star concept, we have developed and implemented the award-winning project of the minto Shopping Center in Mönchengladbach, Germany. “Feel like at home” is the motto for the approximately 42,000 sqm of shopping area. The customer journey for all the senses already starts in the car park and ends in the Food Court with its individually customised “Room” concept. Congratulations for the “German Brand Award 2017” to all those involved and to Martina Fecke and Bettina Kratz received it on 29 June 2017 at the award ceremony.
With the German Brand Award, the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute distinguish successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication. “Focusing, clear differentiation from the competition, the involvement of employees, the holistic understanding and implementation of the brand are and remain the key success factors of strong brands, even in an increasingly digital world,” explains Andrej Kupetz, CEO of the German Design Council.
